Justin Bieber Beauty Beats Makeup Collection

Today I will be sharing with you the Justin Bieber Essence trend makeup collection.
The collection has previously been available in many countries and it has finally made its way down to Australia. The collection should be on sale soon in your local Target, Priceline and anywhere else Essence cosmetics is stocked in your town. If you are after this collection you might want to head there soon as this is a limited edition collection and will be unavailable before you know it.

THE COLLECTION CONTAINS:

One bright pink almost berry toned blush that would be perfect for a that natural blushed look heading into summer.
Four nicely coloured nail polishes that would be perfect for any season. Also all essence nail polish is amazing quality for the low price so I would recommend not only checking these out but also their regular range.
As well as the 4 nail polishes the collection includes these interesting paper nail wraps. The "paper prints" and the transfer solution are sold separately which is a little deceiving as I think they should be a set. I have not tried these out but they do look intriguing, these would also be good for people who love Justin and have little time to do their nails.

One golden shimmer powder which would make an excellent highlighter and also you could use it all over your chest and legs to create that natural glowing look.

The three eyeshadows seemed to be Justin's trade mark colours but I do wish they had more wearable shades available so you could wear them on a daily basis. Like all essence shadows these are very pigmented, blend well but have small amounts of fall out.

Un like the eyeshadows the lipgloss seem to be slightly more wearable. The top pink colour is an every day neutral pink, then you move down to more of a darker mature night time colour and lastly you have the green which comes out as a clear gloss.

This duel ended black eyeliner is probably one of the best things in the collection. Essence is known for its affordable pigmented lip and eyeliners and this addition will be no disappointment. It has a thick and a thin side which is perfect for beginners and also those who are less confident with eyeliner as it gives you two different thicknesses to work with.

The collection also offers this set of 2 hair ties. These creaseless hair ties are quite popular at the moment and I think it was a nice addition to the collection.

Overall I think this Trend Edition collection that Justin and Essence have created is brilliant and i'm sure that even non fans will love this range of makeup.

Covergirl Smoochies Review

Hi!
Today's post will be a review of the Cover Girl lip slicks smoochies which have just become available in Australia. I picked mine up from Big W for only $5.

This range has 3 different colour choices available, two more pinky shades and a rather deep berry plum shade. I purchased two colours from the range them being: Sweet Talk and Luv You.

In terms of the quality I would compare these to a Maybelline Baby Lip balms as they are moisturising and give off a sheer wash of colour. When I say sheer I mean extremely sheer to the point where they are only a tint with a glossy finish. The gloss does last for a while but they slowly become drying. These are the sorts of products that are good for beginners with makeup or teens who need something to throw in their school bag to add gloss through out the day as no mirror is required to use them.

IN SUMMARY:
The colour pay off was barley there and there is a small colour selection. They are moisturising but the moisture doesn't last.

Over all I would rate these a 2/5 as I think there are much better lip balms available on the market.

Essence 50's Girl Reloaded Collection

Hi my beauties, it has been so long since I posted but from now on I promise have a new post up every Friday. Today's post is going to be a overview of the new to Australia essence 50's girl reloaded collection.

Before I even begin I think we need to take a minute to discuss the amazing packaging on the products! This sort of high quality packaging I certainly didn't expect on such low priced items.

This is a brief overview of the entire collection.

The collection has 3 eyeliners that are very nicely coloured. What I mean by that is they aren't to bright and out there so you can get a lot of use out of them as every day products. Like all essence eyeliners they are pigmented and apply nicely. TIP: To maximize the application of this eyeliner quickly (and I mean for like 1 millisecond) light the end of the liner with a lighter. Wait a little for it to cool down and your product will be amazingly smooth.

The next item that the collection has is this double ended shadow brush. My local Target was out of these brushes so I can't really give an accurate review of how soft they are ect. I can say though that two sided brushes have there advantages and disadvantages. Some of those being that it is amazing to travel with as you get 2 brushes with out having that extra space take up but if you are using it for every day use they are hard to store. This meaning that when you put it in your brush holder one end will get  crushed. I don't know about you but that really irritates me.

Essence or MAC? Come on, you can't say the packaging isn't almost identical to some of MAC's white limited edition lip sticks right? When the cap is on these lip sticks have a round almost bullet looking shape which once again makes them look high end. These lip sticks are highly pigmented but I must say essence could of released more than just to shades. I feel most people would have a pink and a nude lipstick in there collection already so they wouldn't really need to buy these. I would of loved to see some more colour selections.

Like the brush my store was sold completely out of the nail polish so not much of a review can be done. Judging from the picture it seems to have nice colours but the one that stands out it the white. I always have difficulty finding white for nail art so well done essence for making a white.

There is also a face powder in the collection, I did't feel this product needed a review as to me a powder is just a powder and this was the same price as the Rimmel Stay Matte powder when its on sale so I would just recommend that!

The last thing in the collection is 3 eyeshadow duo's. Oh my goodness the packaging on these is amazing and can we talk about the fact that the have a mirror? I think a mirror is an amazing thing to have in a shadow as it makes it perfect for traveling and touch ups through out the day. The pigmentation of these shadows is OK. I was not thrilled by the darker colours as they have a lot of fall out but the light colours apply nicely. Over all I think having only 2 colour in a set was good as you get a lot of the shadow rather than squeezing in 4. Also it's nice how the colours all complement each other so you could have just one and create a look or have all and create a look.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer Review

Hi,
Today's post is a review on the Maybelline fit me concealer.
I purchased this concealer from my local chemist and it costed me $15. If you live in the United States I am presuming it is a lot cheaper????

Just to give you a general idea I am fair skinned and purchased the shade light.
This concealer comes in a small handy for traveling size bottle. It has surprisingly long applicator that has a sponge on the end. The sponge makes it very easy to evenly distribute the product over the desired area.

I have tried many many many concealers over my time ranging from high end to drugstore and I must say this is the only concealer that has ever worked for me. I have crazy under eye circles and this just makes them vanish. The formula of the concealer is very easily blend able and also covers blemishes and redness well. You can really get away with only wearing this and no foundations, that's how totally awesome this concealer is.

I absolutely love this product for covering up my dark circles and would easily rate it a 9/10!

Maybelline Fibre Extensions Mascara Review

Hi,
Today I will be reviewing the Maybelline Fibre Extensions Mascara. I recently bought this mascara on sale and I must say I have really been enjoying it thus far.

BRUSH:
The brush is long and thing (that’s what she said!) and goes on very smoothly. The brush is not bendy which makes it hard to reach the very bottom of your lashes. The bristles are nicely spaced out and you can see the fibres on the bristle.

APPLICATION:
The brush makes it fairly easy to apply to the bottom lash line as well as the top.  To go more in depth of the application I will move onto the formula.

FORMULAR:
The formula of this mascara is quiet nice. It’s not to wet or dry. I think this mascara would be better if you left it for a week or so before using. The formula has no smell, which was surprising as the colossal mascara had a rose scent.

In terms of lengthening the lashes I wouldn’t say it is that great, I have naturally long lashes and this really only darkens them. My mum has the water proof one however and it looked amazing on her! It separates each lash and gives off a really nice natural look.

Overall this is a great every day mascara, It could be better but is nice for every day use.

I give this mascara a 7 ½ out of 10 J

Top 5 Best Lip Balms

Hi, today's post is a list of my top 5 favourite lip balms. I have had very chapped lips for basically my entire life which means I am very experienced when it comes to this department! These lip balms are all very moisturising and can be used on even the most cracked and bloody lips!
1.
The first one is from the body shop. I bought this lip balm years ago in an airport and have been loving the brand ever since. These also come in a roller ball form so if your not keen on sticking your finger in a pot the stick option is for you. These lip balms retail for around $12 at
www.thebodyshop.com.au
2.
The second brand is Blistex. They have a wide range of lip balms depending on what you need it for. My favourites are the banana berry shake which wasn't that moisturising but it smelt delicious! I love the lip conditioner because it can be used before and after sun damage. This means it is very moisturising! You can find these at chemists and drugstores for under $5.

3.
The third one is my absolute favourite. This papaw ointment is the greatest miracle cream on this planet. This soothes and dry lips in a day and can be used for a wide range of other things like rashes and blisters.
This cream is only found in Australia and is around $4

4.
The next 2 are by the same brand. These are the sticks and are less common that the pot balms. These have been around for a while and they are so amazing and conditioning.
The are $3

5.
Nivea is a great brand for anything to do with skincare so I would recommend these! They are becoming popular on youtube and can be found at target. These are very creamy and glide onto the lips very nicely!

Cute Ways To Store And Display You Makeup Collection

Hi, today's post is about cute ways to store makeup.

If you only have a small collection or limited space these draw organisers are a perfect thing! You can also use cutlery organisers. This may not be for you if you want to display your collection.

In terms of brushes these adorable glass jars filled with beads are great. They keep your brushes organised and in an upright position. To make this get an old vase or buy a small jar then go to a craft store and buy some small rocks or beads and simply fill them half way!

This way is probably one of the most creative things I have ever seen! This is a styrofoam box with 6 cut outs. This is a great draw divider or you could paint it and display the makeup on your vanity. As you can see this also has room for brushes.

Another brush idea is this pencil cup which you can find at a cheap store or a office supply store.

These are matching to the pencil cups, these are envelope organisers that have been used to decoratively and cutely store your palettes.

A few more ways that I couldn't find pictures of are:
•Office draws
•A spare shelf or draw
•Shoe box
•If you have some money to spend then you could get acrylic boxes from online stores

Bond Girls OPI Liquid Sand Collection - Reviews and Swatches

Hi, todays post is a review and a few swatches of the new OPI Bond Girls Liquid Sand collection.

This is the first time I have tired Liquid sand and I must say I am very impressed! They are glittery sensations that leave a very unique texture on the nails.
To Apply:
Begin with a base coat
Apply 2 coats of the liquid sand
DO NOT use a top coat as these are formulated to dry matte :)

This beautiful collection has 6 shades, each being as beautiful as the next :) I only have 4 out of the 6 but am going to try to get my hands on the rest!
Honey Ryder - take a ryde on the wild side in this shimmery gold.
Jinx - this mesmerizing matte coral has lucky sparkle.
Pussy Galore - this light feminine pink has the purrrfect amount of shimmer.
Solitaire - this diamond-sparkling white is totally engaging.

Tiffany Case – a classic light blue worth investigating.
Vesper - a mysterious and intriguing deep purple.

These shades are great for any time of the year as there is some darker colours for winter and some brights fro summer!

Australian residence can buy these for $20 at David Jones or Myer there is also a mini pack with 4 shades available for $24!
